Sean could only work parttime in the mornings when his children were at school but it was not enough to make ends meet in an expensive city like Oakland. In addition he was still struggling to pay off some debts. A kind woman who lived in the tent next to them offered to look after the kids for an hour after school but it wasnt sufficient to address their needs.
