A man has transformed an old attic into a dressing room for his wife

The question that probably arises one day or another for all women is: where do you put all those clothes? Idali Cabrera is lucky in this case. She has a loving husband with golden hands and a spacious house. For a long time, Idali didn’t know how to fit all her outfits into her small wardrobe. Her husband Rodolfo suggested that she build a new dressing room by converting the attic.

The renovation took just three weeks from start to finish, using materials from the materials depot and the construction shop. Rodolfo worked alone and took on his colleagues from the construction company as a team. In all, he spent around thirty thousand dollars on materials and wages for his colleagues.

For the cupboard, Rodolfo installed a framework to frame the walls before laying plasterboard over them. For the wardrobe, I used wood for the frame and plasterboard for the walls. I then plastered the plasterboard and prepared it for painting.

The shelves were made of wooden planks. I used PVC laminate for the floor, which looks like wood but is made of plastic and other materials. It’s waterproof,” says Rodolfo. The transformation of the loft into a dressing room is quite simply impressive.
