Timberlake is suing Britney Spears. Her memoirs threaten to ruin the musician’s career.

Once upon a time Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears seemed like the perfect couple . Alas the relationship between talented peers ended in separation. But only recently it became clear that Britneys fans were in the dark about the true reasons for her breakup with Justin for more than 20 years. All these years the public believed that Spears cheated on Timberlake and thereby destroyed their relationship. But in Britneys book of memoirs which was published on October 24 a completely different picture is depicted!

Let us remember that Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears first met while filming together on one of the Disney TV shows. Then the future stars were only 12 years old ! Later young Britney began her musical career by performing as the opening act for the youth group N Sync whose lead singer was Justin

The joint creative process quickly developed into a romantic relationship . The couples fans admired their idols. Older audiences wondered if Justin and Britney really had feelings for each other. However mutual acquaintances of the musicians assured that the couples relationship was not a marketing ploy.

Proposal and separation
At the end of 2001 Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears already lived in the same mansion and went out in public exclusively together. Things were moving confidently towards the wedding . Justins gift to Britney of a ring worth 100000 only incited the couples fans. Alas the musicians gift never became a symbol of his union with Spears.

In 2002 the lovers unexpectedly separated . Fans were not told the exact cause of the incident. Shortly after breaking up with Britney Timberlake released the song Cry Me A River which he dedicated to Spears. In addition Justin more than once or twice subsequently mentioned in interviews that the singer broke his heart.

Having compared two and two the public came to a simple conclusion  Britneys betrayal was to blame! The first blow to this point of view was dealt only in 2021 when Spears released an autobiographical documentary. In it the woman directly accused her former lover of using their tragedy for personal promotion
