John Travolta finally opens up about traumatic near-death experience – ‘I thought it was over’

Variety reported shortly after the incident that Travolta purchased his own de Havilland Vampire jet the same jet mentioned in Forsyths novel.  
So Im reading this book saying Ive lived this the actor says adding And of course I was young enough then that I could have played this part of Freddie. But I had to wait 30 years to play the Shepherd.
The actor purchased the rights to the book but was unable to work on the project. He revealed Because it was right after Pulp Fiction I was doing one move after another adding After 10 years I just let it go and decided that I was never going to really get to do it.
