There finally came a time when the woman had enough of his crazy mother-in-law. She stood up for herself and told the older woman she was done being bossed around. She wasn’t going to do anything for her in-laws until they were nice to her.

The husband asked his wife to be more understanding of his mother’s grief. He also didn’t think she was trying very hard to be a good mother-in-law to her daughter-in-law.

The woman said, “I told my husband about this a lot of times, but all he did was play down what his mom did.” She now doesn’t know if telling her husband’s mother off was the right thing to do.

As soon as the woman saw her husband with his mother, she sent him proof. The OP decided to record her mean mother-in-law and show it to her husband. He finally did something and told his mother what the rules were. He didn’t want to kick her out of the house, though.
