With step-by-step pictures of how to plant tomato seeds and how you can grow them
Method 3-4 Starting to plant seeds:
Prepare home garden planting boxes, fill them with soil, and use the appropriate soil to get the best results.
Planting seeds: Make rows in the soil to place the seeds in. You must leave a space of two inches between each seed and the other. Cover the seeds after planting them with a little soil on top and cover them with a little water. If you are planting more than one type of seed, it is preferable to place each type of seed separately after the other and label each row because when the plant grows it is difficult to challenge it alone.
Giving the seeds a little heat: In order for the seeds to germinate, they need a source of light and heat, by using a fluorescent lamp placed above them. The seeds will need approximately 6-8 hours of warm light per day.

Monitoring the seeds: Water the seed planting tray daily and ensure that it receives sufficient light and heat and maintain it at a temperature of no less than 70 degrees. When the leaves form approximately a week after planting, but the fully mature leaves will form a month after germination.
Picking seeds: Plant the seedlings in each of their own containers and give them more space they need to grow fully. Use a scoop to do this and place them in the seed tray.
Transplanting seedlings: Place each seedling in an individual container and fill 1/4 of the container with soil. The plant needs 8 hours of heat and sunlight daily, in addition to water daily.
Plants grow: After about two months, tomato seedlings reach full maturity and look like fully formed young plants. When they become like this, it is best to move them to the garden.
The tomatoes are now ready for planting: When the plants grow, you will now be able to plant them outdoors and prepare a place for them in the garden. You may need simple pruning by using garden shears and cutting a small distance from the branches. If the plant is less than 6 inches tall, it is not preferable to prune it.
